Learning, care and meaningful experiences come together to strengthen skills, confidence and independence.
Know Us BetterEstablished in 2025, Ved Foundation is a residential special school in Thane supporting children with intellectual disabilities, autism and developmental needs.
We bring education, practical learning, care and everyday experiences together within an environment where children can explore their abilities, take part in different activities and gradually become more involved in the things they do.
School life, residential care, specialised guidance, creativity, movement and practical experiences each contribute in different ways — creating a setting where learning can extend naturally into everyday life.
Who We Are
We bring education, practical learning, development and everyday experiences together to help children build abilities they can carry into life. From classroom learning and vocational skills to movement, creativity and daily routines, each experience becomes part of their journey forward.

Learning goes beyond books. We focus on life skills, practical abilities, creativity, movement and digital learning — helping children build skills they can use in everyday life.
Explore Our SchoolChildren may need guidance in different areas as they learn to communicate, participate, manage tasks and respond to the situations around them.
Our specialised services currently include Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech Therapy and Behaviour Modification, with a team of three therapists.
These services sit alongside education, practical activities and daily experiences, adding focused professional input to the broader environment surrounding the child.

Our days are filled with learning, movement, creativity, activities, celebrations and everyday moments that help children participate, express themselves and build confidence.
Festivals, birthdays, outings, picnics, sports, music, dance and creative activities bring variety and energy into the time children spend with us.

The things children practise today can become the confidence they carry into tomorrow.

Our residential environment extends learning into everyday life, giving children opportunities to practise routines, take part in daily activities and strengthen practical skills in a caring environment.
Caretakers are available to assist children during their stay, parents can visit at any time, and the residential facility currently has capacity for 18 children.

Support can take many forms — contributing, volunteering, partnering or helping create more opportunities for children to learn and develop.
